PRODUCTION | RTV Slovenija, Dokumentarni program (urednik Andraž Pöschl) |
The last part of the Film-loving trilogy offers a fresh, close look at the time from the very beginnings of professional Slovenian cinema with France Štiglic’ On Our Own Land (1948), the first Slovenian sound feature film, to the present, when desperate attempts are made to rescue this heritage from decay. The documentary follows the restoration of the legendary film from the first preparatory works to the gala screening in Kongresni trg, Ljubljana, before an audience of hundreds. 70 years after the premiere screening in the same square, with the last surviving members of cast and crew.
