In a border village clad in endless shades of autumn leaves, solitary lives are emerging where reality and imagination meet, seeking redemption that perhaps is only attainable together. Miren is one of the contemporary globalised outlands that the capitals are finding increasingly difficult to comprehend.

Director’s statement:
The film explores the gap between the increasingly pronounced fringes and the numerous centres that keep producing increasing uniformity. It is in this space between that you can find the wheels of the world, both imaginary and real.
